Consuelo Gamboa Wild grew up in the states of Durango and Chihuahua, Mexico, where she began painting at an early age. Her grandmother, Mexican artist Consuelo Farrera Gamboa was her mentor. Upon completion of her formal education in Mexico, Gamboa moved to Europe where she continued her studies in England and Paris, France. Gamboaís formal training and natural abilities allow her to understand the true feeling of any subject she paints.
